A number of groups take place in our community room and you are warmly welcome to attend. In groups we will be responsible for our own children, put the child first spend time with our child, welcome everyone. Use positive language, have appropriate conversations. Put our mobile phones away, keep other people’s confidences
Grown-ups come to the groups to spend one to one time with their child Have fun, Make friends Learn, Share ideas, Find out things.

Children come to the groups to spend one to one time with their grown up. Make friends, Learn new things, Have fun Have different play opportunities, Get ready for growing up!

We promise to:

Keep children safe,
listen to what you need,
give you chances to spend time together
Be welcoming to everyone
Share information about how your child learns
Provide a quality environment and activities have fun!

Please speak to us if you need any advice or want to talk to someone, have any new ideas about the groups, want to get involved in making decisions about the centre or are worried about a child or adult.

We have to make sure the room is ready and safe for you before anyone is allowed in. This is why it is important to stick to start and end times.

Mondays - Breast Buddies

10:00-11:30 (Term Time Only)

A breast feeding support group open to anyone in Rotherham. Get support, advice, information or just a chat. Children are welcome but this is not a toddler group. Run by Rotherham's breast feeding peer supporters.

(£1 donation per person)

 

  1st and 3rd  Tuesdays - Baby Clinic

9:30-11:30 

Health run baby clinic, by appointment only. Please call 01709 423333.

 

Adult Learning

We offer various adult learning opportunities throughout the year. Speak to a member of staff for more information.

 

Boogie Tots

This is a monthly session for parents/carers and children aged over 1 year. This group encourages singing, dancing and movement to music - let's get active! Children will also enjoy a healthy snack. Each session is £1 per family.

 

 Family Theme Days

Explore our amazing outdoor area throughout the year at our Family Theme days. There are lots of fun, games and activities for all the family.

 

Introducing Solid Foods

This is a monthly session and is provided jointly by the Outreach Team and the 0-19 Health Service. The session provides information, support and guidance around introducing solid foods with your baby, as well as how to care for tiny teeth. Speak to a member of staff for more information.

 

Messy Play

Let's get creative! Our messy play sessions encourage children to explore, experiment and create through a range of different sensory and artistic activities. These can include: foam, dough, sand and water, paints and many more.

 

Potty Party

An information and support session looking at the when's and how's of toilet training your child.

 

Sensory Play

This is a monthly session for parents/carers and children up to 1 year. The sessions are designed to promote learning and development for babies through a range of themed activities, as well as providing opportunities to socialise. Each session is £1 per family.

 

Sleep Tight

A 5 week course for parents/carers that looks at how we can improve our sleep experiences for all the family. Please speak to a member of staff for more information. 

 

Story and Craft Session

A monthly session where we explore a story with a range of themed craft activities, bringing stories to life for children. 

 

Trips

We offer a range of opportunities throughout the year to join us during the school holidays (prices vary).
